Southampton Rally In Support of Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Waving American flags and hand-made placards, Neighbors in Support of Immigrant members and their supporters rallied for comprehensive immigration reform at a noontime rally at the Lola Prentice Park in Southampton on Saturday, May 1.

With signs proclaiming “No One Is Illegal,” “Comprehensive Immigration Reform Now,” “Immigration Reform Not Deportation,” and other poignant messages, the approximately 80-strong rally participants sought to demonstrate that immigration reform is urgently needed to secure humane treatment of immigrants, reduce friction among citizens, and provide economic security for all and a pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers.
